THE MIRACLE LEAGUE
Volunteering with Miracle League of Milwaukee is a great way to gain experience working with children with disabilities and to give back to the community.

One of the most important elements of a Miracle League game is the "buddy" program. Each player is paired with a friend to assist them on and off the field during a two inning game.
Help manage, coordinate, lead and encourage selected team. Serving as a team coach is a 5-week commitment.
Help manage and officiate game. Responsible for overseeing the behavior and the safety of all players and their buddies playing baseball.
Assist coaches with team activities, and act as liaison for the team. Demonstrates enthusiasm, love and concern for each player and family.
The announcer is the master of ceremonies. We need you to be fun and animated -the kookier the better! This is big time for these kids!
Concession Stand Assistant
Helps Miracle League raise money by working the concession stands preparing food and serving drinks at Milwaukee Brewer games.
Miracle League of Milwaukee Board Member
A board member analyzes and providse feedback to ensure that the strategic vision and programs of the YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee is relevant to community needs, and the needs of our Miracle League participants and their families.
Miracle League Intern
Under the direction of the Product Director of Sports and Rec and in accordance with Association policies, the Miracle League intern is responsible for aiding in the fulfillment of the Miracle League objectives of curriculum, program, and activities. The incumbent will be instrumental in helping lead to increased program participation throughout programs as well as better understanding of the Milwaukee YMCA by its participants, volunteers, employees, contributors and the general public. The intern is also responsible for the safety of all participants and in creating a fun, safe, healthy environment.
